Artificial Intelligence Research Center

The Artificial Intelligence Research Center is dedicated to advancing the development of artificial intelligence technologies. We focus on developing innovative AI solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity across various industries.

Trapped-Ion Quantum Computing Laboratory

Launched in 2023, the Trapped‑Ion Quantum Computing Laboratory is Taiwan’s first industry‑led quantum computing center. It specializes in hardware development for general‑purpose ion‑trap quantum computers—covering quantum control, scalable architectures, and miniaturized ion‑trap chips. Leveraging Hon Hai’s strengths in semiconductors and precision manufacturing, the lab accelerates quantum hardware advancement and practical deployment

Information Security Research Center

The Information Security Research Center is dedicated to advancing the development of information security technologies. We focus on developing innovative information security solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity across various industries.

Quantum Computing Research Center

Led by Professor Min-Hsiu Hsieh since its establishment in 2020, the Quantum Computing Research Institute focuses on advancing core quantum technologies—including quantum control, algorithm development, fault-tolerant computing, and quantum communication—as a pivotal unit in Hon Hai’s quantum technology strategy

Semiconductor Research Center

To cultivate high-level R&D talent for Taiwan's semiconductor industry, we are committed to developing advanced semiconductor technologies and supporting Hon Hai Group in promoting three emerging industries—electric vehicles, digital health, and robotics—as well as in the development of core technologies such as artificial intelligence and next-generation communications. Our research covers compound semiconductor devices, silicon photonics, nanomaterials, advanced packaging technologies, and metasurface optics applications, among others. We work hand in hand with industry, government, academia, and research sectors to drive forward the development of advanced semiconductor technologies and provide core technologies that enable product innovation within the Group.

Next-generation Communications Research Center

The Next-Generation Communication Research Center aligns with the Group’s “3+3” strategic technology roadmap, focusing on the development of key components for the Group’s future products, driving the transformation and upgrade toward F3.0. In terms of research, the center will integrate resources across the Research Institute for interdisciplinary collaboration, combining next-generation semiconductor processes with artificial intelligence technologies. The focus will be on V2X (Vehicle-to-Everything) and Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite applications, conducting research on B5G/6G intelligent sensing and wireless communication technologies.
