Sebastian Zur holds bachelor degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Amsterdam, where he then also did a master in Mathematics. He is currently a PhD candidate at QuSoft and CWI under the supervision of Stacey Jeffery, where he researches both lower and upper bounds on query and time complexities of quantum algorithms.
