Director Min-Hsiu Hsieh Attends Quantum Korea 2025 with Taiwan Delegation, Showcasing Taiwan’s Quantum Strength

The annual flagship quantum science and technology event in Korea, “Quantum Korea 2025,” was held from June 24 to 26 at the aT Center in Seoul. This year’s theme, “100 Years of Quantum, Awakening Industry,” brought together leading global researchers, technology companies, and policymakers, highlighting Korea’s growing leadership and influence in the global quantum ecosystem.
Thanks to the coordination of Distinguished Professor Minn-Tsong Lin of the Department of Physics at National Taiwan University and Dr. Tandy Lin of the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), five leading quantum experts from Taiwan were formally invited by the Korean organizers to participate in the Quantum Korea 2025 series of events. These included international conferences, exhibitions, and bilateral collaboration meetings, showcasing Taiwan’s broad capabilities and international engagement in the development of quantum technologies.
The five invited Taiwanese experts are:
Professor Minn-Tsong Lin|Distinguished Professor, Department of Physics, National Taiwan University
Professor Chau-Hwang Lee|Director, Research Center for Critical Issues, Academia Sinica
Professor Wen-Hao Chang|Executive Director, Taiwan Quantum Initiative; Distinguished Research Fellow, Academia Sinica; Professor, Department of Electrophysics, NYCU
Dr. Tandy Lin|Researcher, the Industrial Technology Research Institute, ITRI
Dr. Min-Hsiu Hsieh|Director, Quantum Computing Research Center, Hon Hai Research Institute
Taiwan’s Quantum Research Strength Gains Global Attention
As one of the few industrial technology groups in Asia with a complete quantum technology roadmap, Hon Hai Technology Group has long invested in quantum computing, quantum communication, and practical applications. Representing the group, Director Min-Hsiu Hsieh of the Hon Hai Research Institute attended Quantum Korea 2025, engaging in scientific exchange with top international teams and actively promoting regional collaboration within the Asia-Pacific quantum supply chain.
