【摘要】Vehicles are developed/controlled individually but strongly interact with other users on the road to drive safely and efficiently. Connected vehicles enable collaboratively and coordinately driving for not only autonomous vehicles but also human drove vehicles. Dr. Shih has participated the autonomous bus project in Taiwan and is developing the real-time messaging protocols for robot swam and platooning vehicles. This talk will share the experience on improving road use and energy efficiency for connected vehicle, requirements of collaborative driving and recent development on real-time communication for connected vehicles.
