Personal informationDr. Qi Zhao is a QuICS Hartree Postdoctoral Fellow in quantum information science at the University of Maryland. His research interests include quantum simulation, quantum computing, quantum resource theory, and self-testing quantum information. He received his bachelor’s degree and Ph.D. degree from Tsinghua University in 2014 and 2018, respectively. Then he joined Prof. Jian-Wei Pan’s group at the University of Science and Technology of China as a research associate from Jan. 2019 to Oct. 2019. After QuICS, Qi is joining the University of Hong Kong as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science.
